ADVANCED COURSES
The advanced courses normally involve the use of mixed gases such as Nitrox or trimix, and can surpass decompression limits. In general, these courses are not rebreather-specific.

  IANTD Advanced Nitrox:

You want to extend your range, extend your bottom time, extend your excitement?
With Advanced Nitrox you CAN!
Regarded as the foundation training program for decompression and technical diving, the Advanced Nitrox Diver is designed for the diver that wants to extend bottom time, incur minimum decompression schedules and enjoy the ability to utilize staged decompression to accelerate run times.
On successful completion of training you may conduct dives to a max. depth of 42m with a max. decompression time of 15mins.

The program content includes a minimum of 1 confined water session and 4 open water dives. What you can expect to learn from the program.

Equipment configuration
Advanced "OxTox" calculation & planning
Gas management procedures
Staged decompression management
Decompression planning and management
Team gas emergency procedures
Basic decompression platform procedures
Reel & DSMB/liftbag handling

  Duration: 3 days
Course outline: 4 hours of theory, one confined water session, 4 open water dives, use of Runtime- tables and Stages
Prerequisites: minimum age 18 years, Nitrox 40%, minimum 15 logged dives, Medical Certificate Fit to Dive (max. 1 year old)

  IANTD CCR Advanced Recreational Trimix:

You want a clearer head to focus on the dive when you’re below the 25m depth range?

Thinking of moving into mixed gas CCR diving?

The IANTD Advanced Recreational Trimix CCR is a 3 day training program with a min. of 4 open water dives and 150mins of run time.

During the training program you will learn such skills as:

Deco set point considerations and selection
Off-board gas switches
"Best Mix" calculation and selection
END planning
Staged decompression
Team Bail-out considerations and planning
Risk management
Reel and SMB/Liftbag procedures
PLUS lots more!

  Duration: 3 days
Course outline: 5 hours of theory, one confined water session, 4 open water dives using trimix, use of Runtime- tables and Stages
Prerequisites: minimum age 18 years, Nitrox 40%, minimum 15 logged dives, Medical Certificate Fit to Dive (max. 1 year old)

IANTD CCR Normoxic Trimix User Kurs:

Extending your range was one of the reasons for diving rebreathers in the first place! The CCR Normoxic Trimix training program is aimed at those already qualified CCR Users who now want to advance their knowledge and get into mixed gas rebreather diving. During this program you will be shown such vital skills as flushing the rebreather after a gas switch, changing PO2 set points for safer and more efficient decompression, stage tank configuration and removal as well as removing and replacing the rebreather underwater. In the theoretical modules of the program you will learn about calculating oxygen exposure, decompression risk assessment, and creating runtime tables using in house state of the art decompression software. This program is demanding both physically and mentally and prepares you to conduct and carry out safe trimix dives to a max. depth of 60msw.

  Duration: 5 days
Course outline: 4 hours of theory, one confined water session, 7 open water dives, including three dives with trimix, use of Runtime- tables and Stages
Prerequisites: minimum age 18 years, minimum of 20 logged dives, 25 hours dive time on the rebreather , Medical Certificate Fit to Dive (max. 1 year old)

  IANTD CCR Trimix:

If you are already a qualified rebreather "tekkie" and want to conduct dives up to 100msw safely using an Inspiration/Evolution then this is the program for you. During your training you will be constantly tested and evaluated by one of our highly experienced rebreather instructors to assess your skill in diving a CCR. At this level you will be shown how to handle stress and emergency situations calmly and quickly being able to operate the rebreather manually to complete your decompression schedule. Your dives will be conducted using a TX 10/60 to a depth of 79msw. This is a very demanding program for the candidate and if you successfully complete the program you will join a selected few at the forefront of underwater exploration.

  Duration: 5 days
Course outline: 4 hours of theory, one confined water session, 6 open water dives, including 2 dives with trimix
Prerequisites: minimum age 18 years, minimum of 200 logged dives, Normoxic Trimix Diver or equivalent, 50 hours dive time on the rebreather , Medical Certificate Fit to Dive (max. 1 year old)
